Another wonderful holiday

Lovely to meet all our friends in Reception, restaurant and cleaning staff once again. All so cooperative and friendly. Hotel is clean has good facilities and is so well situated. Food provision to suit several nationalities and dietary needs is difficult, but we have always found good variety for a full English breakfast, lots of fruit and so much continental style too. Dinner also has something to satisfy all tastes, always fish of some type and a roast, plus a range of other courses---- and fruitdesserts. Really wouldnt stay anywhere else on C del S

Lovely Hotel

We came back for a second short break this year. Simply love that Hotel. The way it is kept in the old style is just awsome. Classic and elegance all through the Hotel. We always have our superior room with side sea view. Very comfortable beds and nothing to complain concerning size of the room. Little fridge to store things. The stuff working there are the best. Everyone helpfull and friendly. It is like coming home every time we get there. The last bit of change in the restaurant was not necessary in my opinion but fits with the look good to the rest. Food seemed to be a bit colder than before...but they working on it...it just got changed. As someone wrote 2 coffee machine..No ...3..there is another one in the corner at the window. Never waited long to get all I wanted to eat for breakfast...love that fresh made omlette which is served. Even more range of bread now. Nothing to complain really. Have not find the perfect selection for coffee myself with the machine..but I will be back in january and will try again.

Just ok for a 4 star

Been here loads of times. Generally a good stay in club room on 7 floor. View could not be better. Food could be better. Hot food not hot. Breakfast bacon not cooked limp and oily. Entertainment poor or not provided. Sunbathing in grounds plagued with flies.

6th visit

This was our 6thvisit to the pez and we were very disappointed that on booking we had specifically asked for a sunset room and emailed to confirm on arrival we were given 1305 and were fobbed off by reception this tainted our visit however everything else was as expected but lunchtime in the ordina was overpriced and disappointing which was probably why it was underused during our stay

Great location and very comfortable

Stayed in a beach front junior suite for a week. Found the hotel to be very comfortable with huge bed, mini fridge, kettle and espresso machine. Tv had a couple of English channels, bbc itv. View was fabulous and hot tub on balcony was superb. Everything in the room was great. The most relaxing holiday ever. Only downside was the breakfast, which I found was awful, the hot food was either tasteless, barely warm or had a really weird taste. The actual dining hall was always packed with people and was way too small, only two coffee machines and toasters. In the week we only went for breakfast twice since we did not enjoy the experience. I’d rather pay less for the room only basis. I would not hesitate returning to the same suites, as they were really lovely, just no food included please.

Short break

Lovely hotel, second visit. Only negatives were shower had poor pressure so shower was ineffective. Im all for been environmentally aware however with poor pressure had to run shower for few minutes to get it to turn hot so therefore wasting more water and staying in shower for longer due to shower being a trickle. The food this year was questionable, not enough labels on what was provided and sandwichs for 4 hotel evening meal is poor. Other than that lovely hotel, perfect location and hardworking lovely staff. Thanks we will be back again.

Home Again.

Home for a short break prior to Christmas and to meet friends. I have no complaints. I think of the team led by Christina as Family. There is no higher praise than that. Visited another Hotel for lunch and dinner, very lovely but not the Pez Espada. She may be an Old Duchess of an Hotel, but remains Timeless and Classic. Well done everyone. Every member of staff plays a part in keeping this Hotel at its best. Could somethings be improved? Yes probably, but show me any hotel in the world which doesn’t have a few flaws. My attitude if you have a problem or a concern, tell them. Stop moaning to everyone else. Every Blessing and Thank You each and everyone. Home for Christmas.

Almost perfect . . .

We love this hotel in so many ways but were disappointed with the restaurant. The food lacked imagination, selection was limited, and everything and everybody seemed rushed. Food was at times unidentified and we had to ask staff what was on offer. This could have been a real problem for anyone with food allergies. To be fair the new service area improvement was done with a minimum of disturbance and the new layout worked well. Otherwise a lovely comfortable hotel and superb staff. We will be back.
