The Palace of Congresses and Exhibitions in Torremolinos opens its doors to present one of the largest exhibitions of the monastery bakery and confectionery in Andalusia, and for the first time the exhibition will include figural religious crafts.

The Convent Sweets Fair celebrates its 8th year and gathers the most traditional sweets from 39 cloistered convents in the region and shall be available to the public, and in the same place for five days will offer 241 sorts of Christmas desserts and delicacies prepared by the nuns of twenty religious orders.

The 8th Convent Sweets Fair opens on Thursday, December 5, to Sunday, 8th (or until stocks last). The event approaches the public the Andalusian pastry tradition preserved by the regional monasteries and orders.
