A fabulous experience

As always the hotel is top quality value which encompasses the helpful staff on reception especially Victor, the bar staff who work extremely hard serving a busy bar, the entertainment this years was exceptional with the addition of Eugene who will be missed greatly. The food in the restaurant was magnificent and the staff as ever very attentive despite the volume of clients. The improvements especially the new upper bar furniture are fabulous and makes the hotel more luxurious. The hotel provides more than a holiday its a great experience.a holiday for all ages.

Clean, aery, quiet and good location

Every aspect of the hotel is good or great. The staff is sharp and professional. Throughout the hotel, it is clean, aery and quiet, but the decoration could be more modern. The breakfast buffet seemed to cater for all needs. The hotel location is great. Between the hotel and the beach, there is only the walkable “paseo maritimo”, this means no cars, no trafic. In this part of Torremolinos close to Benalmadena the buildings are small or medium sized. The long beach is very nice and in front of the hotel there is a stretch with palm trees and shade. Our room had a lateral view onto the sea, which was good enough for us. The hotel seems to have a more luxurious part with rooms facing the sea. It is easy to get to the hotel from the airport by train in a 15 min ride get off at Montemar alto train station, the first station after Torremolinos station. To go back to the airport, the hotel called a taxi only 20 euros! which avoided the big uphill walk to the Montemar Alto station and all the train-waiting time. I think this Torremolinos MedPlaya hotel offers a great experience and a good quality-price ratio. I recommend it. I enjoyed my short stay at the MedPlaya after visiting Andalucía and before flying out of Malaga.

stay in pez espada

Have stayed in torremolinos many times but I must say that this is the best hotel we have stayed in . The food, cleanliness location,staff and enterainment were excellent and we would definitely stay again

Fantastic stay

A fantastic stay. Very nice hotel that forfilled all expections. Very clean, fantastic location, very kind staff, great facilities and a large selection of food in the restaurant. And a very good bed, which we find very important when you stay for a longer time. Absolutely a hotel that we will visit again.

IDEAL

Un hotel muy bien ubicado, buena comida e instalaciones. Personal super amable. Con buenas actuaciones en las noches. Ideal para pasar unos días de relax en la Costa del Sol. Muy fácil aparcar en la zona y llegar al hotel.

ESCAPADA FABULOSA

El hotel esta fenomenal. La habitacion asignada, amplia y muy comoda. Cama muy grande con buenos colchones. La chica de la limpieza simpatiquisima. Lo unico negativo es el horario del comedor para las cenas. Siendo de 7,30 a 9,30, a las 9 y 10 ya estaban recogiendo las bandejas, incluso hacian labores de mantenimiento, como cambiar un foco, estando el comedor abierto y gente cenando. Pero volveria, sin dudarlo. Un hotel muy recomendable con una ubicacion genial

Best holiday ever

Everything about the hotel was great, this was our 2nd stay at the hotel we love it so much we have booked a week in October and 3 weeks in January

Good Hotel

This was our third stay at the PEZ This time we had a club room overlooking the sea. It was really nice room. If there was a complaint it was the shower losing pressure in the mornings. Ewe were on the third floor. The dining room is excellent with proper table cloths and napkins. We would say if anything that the food was good but maybe not as good as previous stays. it is all buffet and sometimes the food was not as hot as it could have been. There is a good variety of food and a grill is on morning and evening to do steaks, omelets etc. The hotel is in an excellent location Right on the passeo . Torremolinos and the Benalmadena marina are within walking distance. WE will certainly stay again.
